The application of aluminum foil in daily production has been recognized by the majority of users, and its uses are also very wide.

Definition of aluminum foil:
Aluminum foil is a very thin aluminum coil, strip or sheet obtained by rolling aluminum and aluminum alloy strip coils. In China, aluminum and aluminum alloy plates and strips with a thickness of less than 0.2mm are generally called aluminum foil.

Classification of aluminum foil:
①According to the shape, it can be divided into roll aluminum foil and sheet aluminum foil. The supply of aluminum foil products is mostly in roll form, and only a few handicraft packaging users use sheet aluminum foil.
②According to the thickness, it can be divided into three types: thick foil, single zero foil and double zero foil. Thick foil is a foil with a thickness of 0.1-0.2 mm, a single zero foil is a foil with a thickness of 0.01 mm and less than 0.1 mm, and a double zero foil is a foil with two zeros after the decimal point when the thickness is measured in mm.
③According to the status, it is mainly full-hard foil, soft foil, semi-rigid foil, one-quarter rigid foil and three-quarter rigid foil.
④According to the surface state, it can be divided into single-sided foil and double-sided foil.
⑤ According to the purpose, it is divided into packaging foil, daily necessities foil, electrical equipment foil and construction foil.

The properties of aluminum foil:
Thin and light, high specific strength, good gloss, high thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity, high moisture resistance, non-toxic, odorless, good light shading, heat insulation, good corrosion resistance.

State and code of aluminum and aluminum alloy:
Basic state: F-free processing state, O-annealed state, H-work hardening state, W-solution heat treatment state, T-heat treatment state.

Subdivision status: 2-3 digits should be followed by the basic status. The first digit is 1, 2, 3, 4 to indicate the basic processing procedure of the status, and the second digit of the basic status indicates the degree of work hardening of the product. 8 indicates the hard state. For the state between O (annealed) and H×8, numbers from 1 to 7 should be added after the H× code to indicate that due to the limitation of alloy varieties and the use of aluminum foil, the main state is O state. H1 state and H2 state, other states are rarely used.
